Chapter 6: A New World - Part Two
“It was delicious,” said Wenden, “but what is blood work.”
“I took a small amount of blood from your body with that needle before, and I have a machine that can analyze the small particles that live in your blood.”
“In my blood!”
“In the blood of all our bodies.”

“I still cannot get over how women run things on this vessel, uh, ship.”
“You seem to accept it well enough,” smiled the doctor.

He got off the bed, put his shirt back on and left the medical bay. After he looked both ways, Enisaw jerked her head in one direction and that is where he went. First knocking on Sevenser’s cabin by mistake, apologizing, he then reached Jendi’s cabin.
“Ah, come in, Wenden,” Jendi said. “Have a seat on that chair over there. How are you feeling today?”
“Mystified,” he said as he sat down.
